J&S Construction was proud to partner on the transformation of a 135,000 square-foot spec building into a fully operational Lowe’s distribution facility. This extensive retrofit project required a strategic approach to meet the demands of a high-performance logistics center.
The scope of work included a complete renovation of the office areas, ensuring a modern and functional workspace for staff. Major infrastructure upgrades were implemented throughout the facility, including the installation of a new electrical service, HVAC enhancements, and the addition of high-volume, low-speed (HVLS) fans to improve air circulation and energy efficiency.
To support the heavy-duty operational needs of the warehouse, dock levelers and power connections were installed for all critical equipment. The project also involved upgrading lighting systems for improved visibility and energy savings, modernizing plumbing systems, and adding a generator to ensure uninterrupted facility operations.
With attention to detail and a commitment to quality, this retrofit transformed an empty shell into a robust distribution hub ready to serve Lowe’s growing logistics needs.
