In Biblical times, the law allowed a Roman soldier to make a Jewish man carry his backpack for exactly one Roman mile, or a thousand paces. At that time, no one liked being forced to carry anything any distance for a Roman soldier. Jesus said if they were required to carry it a mile, and then carry it two miles – Matthew 5:41.
This means we should go beyond what is expected of us in helping others. At J&S Construction, we have adopted this philosophy and it shows in the quality of our work and in the comments of our clients.
Today, Jack leads the J&S Team as CEO, alongside sons Josh (President) and Andy (Vice President), and the company has positioned itself as one of the premier Design-Build firms in the state. The company self performs more than 65 percent of on-site work with the finest skilled labor in the industry.
