Advance Auto Parts has officially opened its second Crossville location at the new Genesis Road store—becoming the first retail tenant to celebrate a grand opening at the highly anticipated 50-acre retail development just off Interstate 40, directly across from the popular Buc-ee’s®.
Before any vertical construction began, J&S Construction partnered with XI Properties, a leading commercial and industrial real estate development team in the Upper Cumberland, to prepare the previously undeveloped site. This included installing a new roadway, storm drainage systems, a main water line, sewer main, and sidewalks—all essential components for a comfortable and accessible shopping experience.
J&S Construction delivered a complete, ground-up facility for Advance Auto Parts, built to the retailer’s exacting standards. The structure features reinforced exterior CMU (concrete masonry unit) walls filled with rebar, a parapet-walled TPO roof system, RTU HVAC units for efficient climate control, insulated gypsum board interior walls with lumber blocking to support shelving systems, steel bar joists supporting a dry-fall painted roof deck with a center support column, and Ashford Formula treated and polished concrete floors for long-lasting durability and shine.
Despite an aggressive schedule, J&S Construction completed the project on time—thanks to strong coordination, expert craftsmanship, and a dedicated project team.
The new Advance Auto Parts store offers a wide selection of name-brand auto parts and accessories. Customers can enjoy free in-store services such as battery testing and installation, wiper blade installation, and check engine light diagnostics. Orders can be placed online or through the Advance app, with in-store and curbside pickup available in 30 minutes or less.
