J&S Construction completed a comprehensive exterior renovation for the Cookeville Pregnancy Clinic, enhancing both the functionality and curb appeal of the facility.
Situated less than half a mile from the heart of Tennessee Tech University’s campus, the Cookeville Pregnancy Clinic serves as a vital community resource, offering free and confidential services including pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, and STI/STD testing and treatment. The Clinic’s Thrive program further supports new and expecting parents through prenatal and parenting classes, mentorship, and access to essential baby supplies, equipping families with the tools they need to flourish.
The renovation included a full repaint of the building, doors, frames, window frames, soffits, and downspouts. The outdated front awning was removed and replaced with a sleek, modern canopy, while two additional canopies were added to provide covered access for staff and Thrive program participants. To update the facade, J&S Construction installed contemporary metal siding with a warm wood-grain finish, paired with a rock veneer wainscot that extends across the front elevation and around newly built flower beds.
Exterior lighting upgrades further improved the property’s safety and appearance. New fixtures were installed in the canopies and soffits, rear signage was illuminated with dedicated lighting, and all exterior wall packs were replaced with modern, energy-efficient models. In addition, J&S Construction addressed long-standing drainage issues by rerouting downspouts beneath the parking lot to connect with a nearby storm drain, followed by repaving of the affected areas.
With its refreshed, modern exterior, Cookeville Pregnancy Clinic is better equipped to serve patients while providing a professional, welcoming atmosphere for all who enter.
