J&S Construction began construction mid-January on its newest contract for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, an 8,725 square-foot Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) facility at Whiteman Air Force Base, located 70 miles southeast of Kansas City, Mo.
Maneuver Area Training Equipment Site

J&S Construction Company began construction late-February on an $18.4 million, 74,339 square-foot, maintenance facility for the Department of the Army National Guard Bureau’s Ft. Stewart base, located just outside of Savannah, Ga. This project is first pairing between J&S Construction and the Army National Guard.

This contract follows J&S’ awarding of an $8.4 million contract for the Sustainment Brigade Complex Administration Facility, also located at the Ft. Campbell base.

The S.A.T.A. Hangar is J&S Construction's second airplane hangar constructed at the Nashville International Airport (BNA) in Nashville, Tenn. J&S led the design-build team during construction of this 43,075 square-foot facility which consists of a 30,125 square-foot hangar, 12,950 square-foot office space, maintenance area, garage, kitchen, storage, conference rooms, fuel farm and 1,850 square feet of covered parking.
